500g minced beef
80g sausage meat
1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 ½ tsp dried mixed herbs
2 ½ tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp table sauce
salt and pepper
8 tbsp white breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
Pre heat oven 180°C (350°F) mark 4
Using a little butter grease a 34 pint loaf tin.
In a large mixing bowl add the meat, herbs, breadcrumbs, onions, ketchup and seasoning and mix well.
Then mix in the egg.
Add mixture to the loaf tin, press firmly in.
Cover with tin foil
Cook in the oven for 1- 1 ½ hours
