250 g shelled broad beans
250 g shelled peas
1 onion, skinned and chopped
400 ml fresh milk
350 ml vegetable stock
Salt and pepper
3 rashers back bacon, grilled and chopped
Add the broad beans, pea’s onions to a large pan, pour in the stock and milk.
Simmer for 25 minutes.
Remove 1/3 and puree in a blender and return to the pan, mixing well.
Season to taste.
Place in bowls and sprinkle on the bacon
