700g minced beef
A little milk and butter
1000 g potatoes
salt and pepper
1 can of peeled tomatoes
2 beef cubes
40 g flour
3 sticks of celery, sliced
2 medium onion, chopped
In a large saucepan on a low heat gently fry the minced beef, celery and onions. Drain out the fat.
Know mix in the beef cubes, flour, tomatoes and water.
Add salt and pepper.
Cover with lid and cook for 40-50 mins, stirring on occasions.
While this is cooking, peel and cook the potatoes in a pan of salted water.
Once tender drain and mash along with butter and milk.
Pre heat oven 400°F (200°C) mark 6.
Once the meat is done place in an oven proof dish, top with the mash potatoes.
Cook in oven for 35-40 mins
