1 tbsp oil
1 large onion, chopped
300 g minced beef
1 ½ tbsp. plain flour (All purpose)
250 ml beef stock,
1.5 kg potato
20 g butter
1 large carrot chopped
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) gas mark 4.
In a pan add oil, once heated add beef, carrot and onion. Brown stirring continuously.
Drain any excess oil.
Mix in the flour and carefully pour I the stock.
Cook for a further 15 mins.
Remove and place in an oven proof dish.
Peel and chop potatoes, cook in boiling salted water until tender.
Drain and mash with a little butter and milk.
Place the mashed potatoes on top of the mince.
Cook in the oven for 45-50 mins
