30 g butter
1 onion, skinned and chopped
40 ml chopped fresh sage
400g liver, sliced
20 g plain wholemeal flour
250 ml fresh milk
Salt and pepper
On a medium heat melt the butter in a saucepan.
Add the onions and sage and fry for a few minutes.
Roll the liver in the flour and add to saucepan, fry on both sides for a few minutes.
Slowly stir in the milk, stirring continuously bring to the boil.
Cook until the sauce has thickened.
Remove and serve
