2 garlic clove, skinned and crushed
1000 g red cabbage, finely shredded
2 firm pears, peeled, cored and thickly sliced
salt and pepper
160 ml vegetable
25 ml lemon juice
Pre heat oven 170°C (325°F) mark 3
In a medium casserole dish, rub the garlic all around the sides.
Layer the ½ the cabbage on the bottom followed by a layer of pears.
Then repeat with the layers.
Pour over the stock and lemon juice.
Bake in the oven for 2-2 ½ hours
